Hello & welcome to the summer issue of theWire
Hooray, the holidays are here!
I’m not quite sure where the last month has gone but here we are about to start the school summer holidays. Easier as there is less shouting in the mornings, no need to search for school shoes which clearly didn’t stay where they were taken off , or indeed racing from the house 10 minutes after you should have! Harder as somehow we still have to work and juggle child care but at least the sun will be shining .....
This summer edition takes you through July and August so you have plenty of time to read it around your holidays. We have our writing competition winners on p.8. The standard of entry was amazing, so I hope you will enjoy reading the winning stories as much as I did. You can also read the runners up online at

We have a new competition too, courtesy of PC Fraser. Have a look at p.53 and see if you can WIN a family membership to the Dunblane Centre!
Pamela and I have completed our last 2 marathons in Edinburgh and Iceland! Have a look at p.31 to see how we got on and fi nd out how our fundraising is doing.

The latest magazine is also available to read online. Extra copies can be found at the Dunblane Centre and at local libraries and shops.
