A Message from Gemma

Well summer is fi nally here (is it here weather wise?? It’s lovely as I’m writing this in early June so fi nger’s crossed, it’s lasted!)

I hope you all made it along to one of the Into the Woods performances, where

the sun shone on cast and picnicking audiences each evening. What a wonderful show and atmosphere all round. Congratulations and thanks to Pamela, the cast, crew and all involved who put so much eff ort into it all.

As well as our summer programme we’ve lots on off er this summer! The fi tness classes are all going ahead as per usual so get yourself booked in to some of those! Lots of things stop over the summer so there is much more access to the sports hall, function room and fi tness suite. Fancy a game of badminton, 5-a-side footy or just something to do with the kids? … then get in touch for availability and prices!! Or why not just pop in for a cup of tea on a rainy day (of course there will be a couple!). We’ll have youth drop in happening every day as well so lots and lots to do! Rain or shine – we’ll be here for you this summer!!

Hey Guys,

Well the summer holidays have offi cially started and here’s hoping we get some nice warm weather. Although our youth clubs are not running don’t despair because there is still a jam packed summer programme for you all to enjoy! Just a few of the things on off er are: sounds of nature; arts and crafts for the younger ones; graffi ti workshops; and trips away to Create. Our Saturday Night project is even going away to Alton Towers for the day, and there are still few places available so don’t miss out.

If you don’t have a copy of the programme you can get one from the Centre, in person or from the website, and remember payment must be made at time of booking.

Show in a week - The King and I

So, it’s that time of year again where Pamela, the adult cast and around 120(ish) children and young people from 4 years old upwards work together for a week, to put on a show at the end. The shows have always been fantastic and everyone involved works very hard to make them a success, no wonder they sell out!

I can’t wait to see it and if you haven’t seen one of our shows yet don’t miss out any longer - they are fab. Performances will take place on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th of August. If you require any more information please do not hesitate to get in touch

and I”ll look forward to seeing you all there! Jeannie Gray - Youth Worker

King & I Tickets are available from the centre priced at £7 adult and £5 concession.
