ing from high school, I attended Philadelphia Modeling School where I was told I’d be good at modeling hats (I was too short).


S Needless to say, that didn’t last long.


After a short period as a secretary for an advertising agency, I got back into the service industry as a flight attendant for Northeast Airlines based in Boston. This was among the best experiences of my life, but I got homesick and moved back to Philadelphia where I tried my hand at being a travel agent. After working in travel for a while, I began doing some work in the temporary help industry along with my mom. I opened a small office in King of Prussia and learned a lot about staffing and people.


Not long after, little did I know that my life was about to change drastically. It was just a normal business day when I got the phone call. A man was asking if we had any applicants looking for a full time job in pipe-and- drape. I thought, what the heck is pipe-and-drape?


Since I was 15 years old, I’ve been in the service industry in some fashion or another. Starting out in retail, then on to waitressing (does anyone remember the old Thrift Drugs at the King of Prussia Mall?). After graduat-
