Guests can swim laps in the hotel’s glass- enclosed swimming pool and relax in the whirlpool, which are located in the court- yard. For a mouth watering experience and a bit of nostalgia, attendees will want to dine at

Ralph’s of South Philly.

The restaurant is a contemporary version of the original Ralph’s Italian Restaurant, which is located in South Philadelphia and has the distinction of being the oldest Italian restaurant in America.

Still owned and operated by the fourth generation of the Dispigno/Rubino family, the original Ralph’s was opened in 1900 by Francesco Dispigno and named after his son, Raphael.

At the Sheraton Valley Forge restaurant, attendees will enjoy the great food and high-quality service that’s been a tradition at Ralph’s for more than 100 years. The menu will feature both classic dishes from the original restaurant as well as some new options.

Boardwalk Plaza Hotel in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, is a Victorian property that is synonymous with the roots of the town. “We like to say, ‘think of us as your beach house... with 84 bedrooms’,” noted Jennifer Zerby, director of marketing for Boardwalk Plaza.

This hotel is an intimate property and often hosts only one group at a time. “We pride ourselves on our excellent cus- tomer service, and our staff is top-notch,” said Zerby. “When attendees retire to their rooms, they’re assured of privacy and comfort with luxury linens, pillow top mattresses, fluffy towels and robes, and full-menu room service.”

By offering services and amenities that go above and beyond the norm, boutique and luxury prop- erties provide a guest experience that is truly extraordinary.

Planners in search of a venue that will help take their event to new heights will find all they are look- ing for and more at these venues.
