Revel opened in May of 2012 to much fan fare. It features 1,900 overnight rooms, two theaters, celebrity chef-inspired restaurants, plus nightclubs, shops, spa, beach and gaming.


Margaritaville at Resorts is a $35-million addition that will include a 400- seat Margaritaville Cafe, beachside LandShark Bar and Grill, Five O'Clock Somewhere Bar, and more.


Steel Pier is undergoing a $102-million, three-phase renovation project to feature restaurants, nightclubs, a 2,000-seat ballroom and a museum.


CULINARY UPDATE


Borgata offers an array of restaurants, including Fornelletto Cucina and Wine Bar, SeaBlue, Izakaya (a modern Japanese Pub), Old Homestead Steak House, Bobby Flay Steak and Wolfgang Puck's American Grille.


At Harrah's Atlantic City, guests can enjoy cabana-style dining at The Pool, or visit celebrity chef Luke Palladino's restaurant, The Steakhouse, Bluepoint, or McCormick & Schmick’s.


At Caesars, Mia Italian Restaurant in the main lobby is popular among groups, as are Buddakan and The Continental at the adjacent Pier Shops at Caesars.


Showboat boasts the House of Blues and private dining in its Foundation Room, one of Atlantic City's most entertaining venues. Chef Chris Scarduzio (also of Mia at Caesars) offers his Scarduzio's Steak-Sushi Lounge on site.


Tropicana, along with The Quarter at Tropicana, features a great selection of restaurants which can be booked for an evening “Dine Around” experi- ence. Within Tropicana are Fin (a seafood and prime steak experience), II Verdi and the Golden Dynasty, while at The Quarter there are Carmine's, P.F. Chang's, Cuba Libre, The Palm and many more.


At Revel, restaurants like Iron Chef Jose Garces' Amada and Village Whiskey and Iron Chef Marc Forgione's American Cut are extremely pop- ular. Additional restaurants by renown chefs at Revel include Azure by Allegretti and Chef Michel Richard's Central.


Located just off the casino floor at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Hotel is Robert’s Steakhouse of New York, offering upscale fine dining with seat- ing for about 200 guests, including a private dining room for 25 people.


For non-casino property dining, two legendary establishments lead the way - The Knife and Fork Inn and Dock’s Oyster House have both been offering superb steaks and seafood for generations.

On the boardwalk, visitors can take a spin on a roller coaster and excite their senses at fun-filled Steel Pier amusement park. Another boardwalk option is the bizarre and strange world that is Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum. Step back in time and have a picture taken in front of the 1920s era Boardwalk Empire façade, or, for shoppers, browse around the three- story Pier Shops at Caesars that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.
