The Avante Garde Situated on the ground floor of the East Ham Campus students have the opportunity to learn contemporary nail and beauty treatments in a professional environment.


The Fashion and Textile Museum


Situated in the heart of fashionable Bermondsey Village, the FTM is entirely operated by Newham College and is maintained as a hub of learning, ideas and networking for the fashion and jewellery industry. It has been visited by the likes of Manolo Blahnik and Twiggy.


The Salon


We operate a professional hairdressing salon on High Street North East Ham where students benefit from valuable work experience in a real salon and clients receive the highest standard of service and treatments.


ZEN Retail Shop


Zen is a cutting edge retail store owned by Newham College. Based in Stratford Mall, this is a chic clothing store and compact learning space in which students gain professional retail experience through on the job training and retail qualifications.

The Flex


A full library service, providing books and periodicals, CD-ROMs, language study facilities and key skills centres. PCs with internet connections are available to book for your own use, free of charge to all students, during the day and evening.


New Learning


This virtual learning environment gives students access to a wide range of learning resources wherever there is an internet connection. Each student has a personal homepage, calendar, email and web space where they can save their own work, submit online assignments and access work.
