What did Newham’s Borough-wide Course (NBWC) students go on to do?


Construction


NBWC student, Jordan studied a City & Guilds Basic Construction Skills course. Jordan produced some excellent work and won an award for the ‘Most improved student’ from the Building Crafts College. His tutor’s said “He has an excellent attendance record and has an excellent attitude towards his work”.


Motor Vehicle Maintenance


NBWC students Hussain (pictured) from Lister School and Jubayer from Stratford School, both studied for a City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Diploma at Pitstop Garage. They have both progressed on to Further Education Courses studying Motor Vehicles.


Engineering


NBWC Engineering students have taken their passion for sector to the next level, with many going on to study the subject at NewVIc 6th Form College and applying to study further at university...


Neneh (former Kingsford student), went on to study an Extended Diploma in Electrical Electronic Engineering with A-level Maths and plans to study Electronic Engineering at University.

Zaheera (former Kingsford student), went on to study an Extended Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with A- level maths and plans to study Aerospace and Aviation Engineering at University.
