LOOKING TO THE FUTURE... NewVIc Honours Programme
NewVIc is an excellent choice for students aiming to progress to highly competitive universities and courses. Our academically gifted students join the NewVIc Honours Programme which provides specialist guidance through an additional 1.5 hour weekly session, a tailored curriculum and enrichment opportunities to support progression to elite universities.

The place to study
Last year, students from over 150 different schools chose NewVIc (Newham Sixth Form College) as the place to continue their education. The college has an excellent reputation for its standard of teaching, range of courses and the support it offers to its students.
Lots of courses to choose from
A-levels, specialist pathways, BTEC diplomas at level 2 and 3, advanced diplomas and BTEC subsidiary diplomas are just some of the many courses available at NewVIc.
Excellent results and progression
In 2011 141 A* and A grades were achieved at A-level in 2011 and 123 triple distinctions were achieved in BTEC extended diplomas. Hundreds of students progressed to universities including the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, UCL, Warwick and other leading universities.
Excellent support
Support available includes learning, financial, counselling and tutorial support. This support starts when you apply to the college when you will receive lots of advice and guidance about the most suitable course for you to study.

Facilities
Dance studios, a sports hall, music studios, a multi- gym, newly refurbished multi-media suites and an outdoor multi-use sports area are just some of the facilities available to NewVIc students.
