Ongame Network is teaming up with Bally and Aristocrat to offer preferred Net poker solutions
Bally Technologies and Aristocrat Technologies will both team up with Shuffle Master and its Ongame Network to bring an online poker solution into their portfolio of online products.
Aristocrat will make Ongame’s poker content available to its casino customers to further enhance the more than 30 proprietary games already included in the nLive package. The addition of the Ongame product will provide operators with another solution, in that it will allow them to access and share in a larger liquidity pool and network.
Aristocrat’s Vice President of Systems Sales & Marketing Kelly Shaw said: “We already created one of the best online gaming solutions in nLive, and now we wanted to further enhance the product by giving operators the ability to access and offer to their players Ongame’s premier poker content. Both Aristocrat and Bally

MGM takes leap forward with PiP
Leap Forward Gaming has announced that MGM Resorts International has joined the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Intellectual Property Pool. PiP technology allows gaming operators to take over all, or a portion, of a gaming machine’s video screens so that they may present games, media content, interactive bonusing events, directed marketing messages and applications to players. By providing these services in a secondary picture on the video screens, game play is not interrupted. MGM Resorts International COO, Corey Sanders said: “MGM is very pleased to license our PiP patent to the PIPP so the industry can benefit. MGM has a history of spotting industry-changing solutions and it is gratifying to see our vision of over sixteen years ago come to fruition. We believe that PiP is the next technology wave that will transform the gaming floor and we are thrilled our intellectual property is included in this important patent pool.”

Topjack Games’ Nick Lynes added: “Eseguire employ many ingenious mechanics to acquire players and maximise revenue. They realise the value of instant win mega jackpots on all games, not just slots and the advantage of being first to market.”
THE DOORS TO CALIFORNIA’S NEWEST casino swung open on Friday May 25 with the long awaited Running Creek Casino springing into action in the beautiful resort area of Clear Lake, California. The 33,000 sq.ft. casino, which opened with 349 slot machines and six table games, is an enterprise of the Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake. The region has long been a mecca for campers, hikers, nature lovers and watersports enthusiasts - and now boasts a new casino property.
“The road has been long and the obstacles too numerous to count, but we are finally here, excited and proud to open the doors to the public,” said Tribal Chairperson Sherry Treppa. “We want this establishment to be more than just a gambling hall. Our vision is for visitors and local residents to see this as a place to come for dining and entertainment, as well as a local meeting place for Lake County clubs and organisations.”
NEXT YEAR’S IMA GERMANY SHOW has been cancelled in a move that has surprised most interested parties, even those in the decision-making process. The German coin-operated Amusement and Vending Machinces association (VDAI) met last month to discuss the Interstate Treaty on Gambling, which represents a dramatic shift in German legislation that would massively increase tax and lead to the suppression of the country’s AWP market. It appears the VDAI went into the meeting without a mandate to vote on the future of IMA, but chose to postpone the show until 2014 during the course of the meeting.
