Lifting Makes You Look Younger.
Do you sometimes look at yourself in the mirror and not really recognise the person staring back at you? You’ve retained a youthful outlook on life, and in yourself you feel younger than you look. And then you start thinking “what can I do to change this imbalance”. Perhaps it’s time to consider a ‘lifting’.
If you’re not exactly sure what ‘lifting’ is, let’s explain. It’s a procedure whereby muscles are ‘re-tensioned’, and excess skin can be removed surgically. This is usually carried out either only on the face, or face and neck. To re-tension muscles, there are a number of ways forward. Surgical lifting involves local anaesthetic and a short hospital stay. However, we see many patients where a local anaesthetic is all that’s needed, and by using special types of threads, the lifting is achieved. We carry this out in our clinic in Albir. If you’re worried about scars, we take extra special care to tuck these away out of sight behind your ears.
