Female Focus HELP Swings
The Swingtet Plus big band evening at the Costa Narejos Hotel on Thur sday 19th April provided great music, which got people dancing to a variety of familiar numbers.
Female vocalist, Patti Ross, added greatly to the entertainment with her crystal clear voice and musical interpretations. The full capacity audience showed their appreciation with a stand- ing ovation for what was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. 159€ was raised for HELP Murcia Mar Menor from the raffle.
The Swingtet Plus band performs again at the Costa Narejos Hotel on Thursday May 24th, an event not to be missed.

Tuesday 8th May - charity market at La Zona Bar, Los Alcazares 11-2pm Saturday 12th May - Treasure Hunt starting at 2 pm from the Don Lorenzo restaurant, Los Urrutias, and finishing there for a meal of goulash or schnitzel 12€. Tuesday 15th May - HELP’s general meeting at Las Claras at 11.30 for 12 noon. Tuesday 22nd May - Bargain hunt/Auction to be held at the Novo Carthago, Los Urrutias. Items to be brought between 10-12 pm hammer down at 2 pm 10€ fee for 3 items and 4€ for one item. Friday 25th May - the Friendship Group meet at the Puerto Tres restaurant, Los Alcazares at 12.30 for 1 pm for menu del dia at 9€. Saturday 2nd June - HELP’S 10TH ANNIVERSARY and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will be celebrated with a party outside our office 4pm - 8 pm. Paella (chicken, fish and vegetarian) plus celebratory cake.
