OFFSHORE EXPERTISE Their expertise in the offshore market is second to none, having strengthened it’s renewables portfolio with the launch of the Coastal Service Division in 2007, which operates a dedicated fleet of coastal survey and crew work boats to service the various needs of the wind farm market.

Presently The Gardline Group manages more than 35 separate companies worldwide. With offices throughout the UK and in the USA, Arabian Gulf, Australia and South East Asia, Gardline has a truly international presence.

SPECIALIST TRAINING One of which, East Coast Training Services offers a range of specialist courses and professional qualifications for wind farm personnel to gain the skills and knowledge they need to help operate safely offshore.

UNIQUE FACILITIES East Coast Training Services offers the unique MST Vessel Transit & Transfer Training course, where delegates learn how to transfer safely between a fully crewed transfer vessel typically used by offshore wind farm operators and a purpose built transition piece.

All training takes place at East Coast Training Services’ dedicated facilities in Great Yarmouth, UK.

The training school’s facilities are unique as it is the only location in the UK to provide quayside training on a specially commissioned full scale transition piece which simulates the conditions experienced by technicians and transfer crew, but in a controlled environment.

Whether delegates are personnel required to access turbines during their construction, testing, maintenance, servicing or decommissioning or any reason, or managers, HSE officers, supervisors and technicians directly responsible for these personnel, the course will provide improved confidence and experience to make safer transfers.

PARTNERSHIP ECTS has joined forces to develop the course with offshore survival training specialists Petans, who have provided professional safety and survival training to the offshore industry for almost 40 years. All delegates are instructed and

assessed by two Petans OPITO and MCA accredited trainers. They impose a course maximum of 8 delegates to ensure each delegate receives more hands-on practice.

EXCEPTIONAL WELFARE FACILITIES Purpose-built fully equipped classrooms for theory courses and brand new changing facilities are provided, including lockers and power showers, and plenty of on-site parking is available for delegates.

East Coast Training Services also offers access to a comprehensive range of offshore wind courses including Personal Survival Training, Working at Height, Rescue Training, Confined Space Working and Elementary First Aid.
