CASE STUDY – SHERINGHAM SHOAL The filter unit has recently been installed at Sheringham Shoal offshore wind farm and hailed a success by the client and contractor. The product was deployed specifically for the protection and stabilisation of the HDPE pipe which extended from the j-tube bell mouth, ISS (Integrated Subsea Services) were contracted to complete the works and they regarded it as a best, most simple, cost effective solution to cable protection.

In the same year it became a stocking agent for the global organisation Sumitomo and currently distribute their filter unit which is recognised as an advanced solution to subsea scour and cable protection. This relationship has flourished as this exciting, innovative and yet simple product has been promoted to developers, contractors, divers and marine specialists throughout Ireland and the UK.


KYOWA FILTER UNIT Designed to protect sub marine structures from the unpredictable sub sea environment, the filter units unique structure is designed to significantly reduce installation costs while providing full scour and cable protection.
