The Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (RAKIA) was created in 2005 by H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah to boost the industrial and business opportunities and realize a long-term strategy for the emirate’s socioeconomic development. Within a few years, RAKIA has attracted large number of local and international companies to RAK importantly, is laying down the foundation to a more resilient and robust economy by gathering hundreds of foreign direct investment year-on-year.
RAKIA operates free trade zones for foreign investors who wish to avail full ownership of their business, enjoy tax exemptions and 100% capital and profit repatriation.RAKIA also partners with investors who prefer to invest in business based outside the free zones.
RAK Offshore is a Strategic Business Unit of RAKIA and established more then 6000 Offshore IBC’s through 200 Registered Agents mainly Lawyers, Tax and Business Consultants and Audit & Accountants firms.
Now, RAK Offshore is making possible for non-residents, corporations, entrepreneurs and individuals worldwide to enjoy all the advantages of a tax free country which use to be available only for resident entities.
