Rishi Alain Mungal is an Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public currently serving as Legal Counsel to Morgan & Morgan Trust Corporation (Belize) Ltd., a branch of the international Morgan & Morgan Group of legal advisors and fiduciary offices (
www.morimor.com). Originally a citizen of Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. and presently residing in Belize, C.A., he is trained in the law of the Commonwealth Caribbean and admitted to practice in Belize.
Mr. Mungal holds degrees in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & Political Science from the University of the West Indies (Trinidad and Barbados campuses) and a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School (St. Augustine, Trinidad).
He is also a member of the Belize Bar Association, the United Kingdom headquartered Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (
www.step.org) and was appointed by election to the Executive Councils of the Belize Offshore Practitioner’s Association (
www.bopa.bz) and the Belize Chamber of Commerce & Industry (www.
belize.org).
While Mr. Mungal advises and assists on matters of International Financial Services on a daily basis, his special areas of practice also include Corporate and Maritime law, Trusts and Intellectual Property.
