Michael是一名特许会计师（ACA）。他在毕马威会计师事务所工作和培训了十年，从事 审计和企业财务等业务。他拥有拉夫伯勒理工大学管理和商业金融的荣誉学士学位。

Jurisdictional Perspective
Michael Charlton Consulting Limited provides strategic consultancy to countries and cities around the world on international business promotion, branding and economic development, to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and to use mega events such as the Olympics and World Cup as a catalyst for capturing global business attention.
Michael is currently International Director, Isle of Man Government. Based in London he is responsible for advising the government on its economic development strategy, proposition development and for raising the profile of and attracting investment to the Isle of Man from London, the wider UK and key international markets such as China, India, Russia and the Middle East.
Michael is also International Director of Rio Negócios, the official agency of the city of Rio de Janeiro responsible for attracting and promoting inward investment. Created in May 2010, the objective of the agency is to connect national and international companies to Rio, helping them set up, succeed and grow, consolidating Rio´s position as a global business hub.
Michael is a Chartered Accountant (ACA). He trained and spent ten years with KPMG where he managed both audit and corporate finance assignments. He has a BSc Honours degree in Management & Business Finance from Loughborough University of Technology.
