BASES Annual Conference University of Essex The BASES Conference 2011 will put the topic of fatigue under the micro- scope with a series of keynote lectures delivered by experts in the fields of physiology, biomechanics, nutrition and psychology. Fatigue limits the perform- ance of athletes at all levels and is a debilitating symptom in a variety of clinical conditions. A number of sym- posia and workshops are also planned that will explore not only the different aspects of fatigue, but will also offer the chance to debate current topics such as transcranial magnetic stimula- tion, ‘green’ exercise, paralympic sport and exercise for health.
