Solís grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas where he spent many summers working on his grandparent’s farm and ranch. He attended Del Mar College and then joined the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Solís has worked in the multimedia field of potograpy grapi and video prodution for over 36 years. He has been heavily involved in civil rights since 1987 when he was a Hispanic Employment Program Manager for the Air Force and the local chapter president and regional and civil rights director for National Image, Inc.
