Cintas Wins Spirit of Diversity Award for Commitment to Supplier Diversity

intas Corporation recently announced that it received a Spirit of Diversity
Award at the 2011 South Central O hio Healthcare Supplier Diversity Symposium, a regional event that brings together senior leaders in the healthcare supply chain to enhance relationships with diverse suppli- ers in the region. Cintas received the award in the Maj or Supplier category for the de- velopment of diverse suppliers through mentoring and capacity building courses, providing actual results, leadership com- mitment, and accountability and outreach. “Cintas is truly leading the way in sup-
plier diversity development,” said Amelia Rodriguez, CE O of V ocalink, a multilin- gual management company that provides services to Cintas and participant in Cintas’ capacity building programs.
“Cintas has
made enormous strides granting minority suppliers opportunities for free training and extensive mentoring from top-level ex- ecutives. Cintas works tirelessly to ensure its diverse suppliers are equi pped with the tools necessary to be successful.” Cintas’ commitment to supplier diver- sity is a corporate-wide initiative to edu- cate its employees about the importance of
having a diverse supply chain. While
