Sundance Spas, is one range which is benefiting from the high level of activity at the more expensive and luxury end of the market.
The average Sundance Spa sale is a minimum of £10,000 so that puts the range towards the top of the luxury stakes. Said Francesca Squire, Director of Sundance Spas: “Our cheapest spa is £5,000, but we are not selling any of those.” She said that even at the top end people were still cautious with money and anyone with £15,000 to spend two years ago still have £15,000 to spend now so they are holding on to it.
Sundance’s recently announced Elite Series is intended for the luxury end of the market and aims to get over a message about a new line of luxury spas rated the highest for energy efficiency.
The new Elite Series consists of the Constance and Victoria models which include exclusive improvements, such as
tubs, comparing products and taking time to decide what they want.
The Caldera range which has its Cantabria model as its flagship hot tub in the £11,500 price range is a large spa and its high specification includes 74 water jets, 14 air jets and three 2.5hp pumps plus Spa Frog and Ozone.
The spa comes with CD Music as standard for
the UK; however it is possible to order it without this option, in which case the speakers are blanked off with cup holders.
The Cantabria boasts Caldera’s much-talked about Ultramassage system which has an electronic sequencer which operates valves to send water to each jet to give up to six different massage patterns and speeds. spn
