HOT TUBS BOOM IN HOLIDAY LODGES A record number of holiday lodges in the UK have installed hot tubs over the last two years as they have become one of the most sought out luxury holiday items. A new survey for the British Tourist Authority on demands made by holidaymakers reported: “Today, more and more people prefer to spend their luxury weekend at holiday lodges with hot tubs. Thus, UK lodges with hot tubs are available in record numbers and are hugely popular.”
PERSONAL HYGIENE KEY TO HOT TUB SAFETY A new EU report says that many health problems associated with hot tubs are down to personal hygiene. An investigation into E coli outbreaks in Europe in June this year resulted in a EU research document which focused on the unique water problems of hot tubs and which now suggests that while chlorine and chemicals can eliminate most bugs there’s a lot to be improved in the way of personal hygiene. Improved standards of washing and showering before people enter a hot tub were stressed. Education especially of children was an important factor the document stated.

AWARD WINNING GARDENER AND JACUZZI TEAM UP FOR HAMPTON COURT
Jacuzzi UK teamed up with high profile gardener, David Domoney, to wow guests with a landscape design that incorporated the latest hot tub technology at Hampton Court Flower Show.
Jacuzzi’s attendance coincided with an ongoing initiative by the company to bring business ‘back to the capital’, to raise brand awareness.
Joanna Williams, Marketing Manager for Jacuzzi UK said: “Teaming up with David was a fantastic opportunity that allowed us to demonstrate how our stylish tubs can be worked into almost any style of garden, be it ultra modern or country classic.”
