Estenity Estenity introduced Hailucent Dpin6, a technical ester for lipstick and lip balm applications with a medium viscosity and a premium silky after-feel. The ester prevents all types of stick cosmetics such as lipsticks, concealers and perfume sticks from breaking. The product has a very glossy effect and can also be suitable for skin care, sun care and hair care. Additionally, the company displayed Hailucent Inda II, both a superior glossy ester and high performance polymer for lipgloss formulations. Hailucent Inda II has long-lasting gloss and comfortable moisturising feel.
Earthoil Plantations
Earthoil unveiled the latest editions to its aqueous product range Eartharome®
and Treattarome® at this
year’s show. A unique range of certified organic products, they deliver a high concentration of essential oil in water to impart a strong, authentic fragrance to a variety of cosmetic applications. Representatives from the company were on hand to demonstrate its sourced rose hip oil from Southern Africa that promotes multiple skincare benefits in rejuvenating fatigued or damaged skin. The high essential oil concentration in the products has also been shown to act as a natural preservative, which has great benefits for those looking to reduce their use of synthetic preservatives.
GfN and Selco GmbH
Exhibitors GfN and Selco combine services to give as much support as possible for new innovative product ideas. GfN GmbH is a German producer that works with distributor Selco GmbH and offer naturally active ingredients of high quality for cosmetics, pharmacy and nutrition. The company’s range of actives includes
Hyaluronic acid, plant extracts, Coenzyme Q10, Bioflavonoids, natural Bisabolol, Aloe Vera, Collagens, Elastin and natural viscosity modifiers for anti-ageing, skin whitening and skin protection.
Global Shea
Global Shea displayed products from a number of West African producers of refined and unrefined shea butter, organic certified shea butter and natural cosmetics products. Six companies had products on display including Kaloje from Mali, Karethic from Benin, Laboratoires Bioessence from Senegal and Solution Oasis from Ghana.
IBR Ltd
IBR Ltd work within the skin lightening and whitening market and showed visitors the significant effect of IBR-Phyto(flu)ene®
cream containing IBR-TCLC®
in lightening the skin tone using a (tomato colourless
carotenoids). The clinical research shows benefits in melanin synthesis inhibition, anti-inflammatory,
antioxidant and protection against UVA. The company also showed its newly launched IBR- which has great benefits for the relief of
ProPhyDerm®
sensitive skin. Other unique technologies from the company include IBR-Dragon® CalmDeAge® Snowflake®
for dark circle reduction and IBR- which is a safe alternative to Botox.
Induchem Induchem’s booth displayed new concepts that target skin radiance through both skin complexion and texture. The different active ingredients support the skin to restore its top performance through regulating melanin formation, strengthening antioxidant capacity, eliminating signs of irritation and rebuilding the extracellular matrix for a firm and supple skin texture. Products on display included Unisooth EG-28
which reduces dark circles under the eyes and Unilucent PA-13 which works to give brighter skin and a more uniform complexion.
ID bio French cosmetics manufacturer ID bio unveiled a new range of products at in-cosmetics. The company has great experience and know-how in the botanical extracts field, and offers a range of titrated extracts with identified molecules. The products on display work to extract all the benefits from the botanical world and include botanical extracts of fruits and seaweeds and purified proteins extracted from soybean and milk.
Impact Colors Europe Impact Colors Europe was on hand to show visitors its colour effect pigment products, all of which are environmentally safe, clean and cost effective. The company’s stand featured Fiesta Color Effect Pigments, an innovative line of 48 synthetic mica- based pigments that deliver high chromaticity and advanced functionality with no heavy metal content. They are environmentally pure and are synthetically produced from pure minerals found in nature. The Fiesta Color Effect Pigments range also includes Vision Beads which are derived from all renewable natural sources, Alchemique Pigments which use flaked aluminium and Kaleidoscope and Diamond Variable iridescent pigments which produce up to three dramatic and distinct colours depending on how the light strikes them.

IRB launched a unique third generation antioxidant Marrubium vulgare stems G at this year’s show. This new green biotech ingredient is able to ensure a multi-phase protection through immediate antioxidant activity and long-term maximisation of skin self-defensive systems. The novel ingredient was also selected as one of the finalists for the Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award at the show.
KCC Silicone Silicon-based speciality chemical division of KCC for anti-ageing, IBR-
Corporation of South Korea has recently announced the commercialisation of Dimethicone as an alternative to Cyclopentasiloxanes. The formulation can be used in demanding cosmetic formulations and provides improved skin moisture. Experts were on hand to talk visitors through the company’s other innovations such as the SF1000N2 that is designed for skin care, hair care, sunscreens and colour cosmetics formulations.
Laboratoires Prod’Hyg Laboratoires Prod’Hyg supports the development of spirulin as a cosmetic ingredient, and a new hydroglycerinated extract of spirulin was launched at this year’s show. The company’s representatives were keen to highlight the benefits of the blue-green alga such as its anti-ageing properties. This alga comes from the culture pounds of Burkina Faso, and its development will promote economical independence at the area.
Lyofal Lyofal showcased a range of innovative and easy to apply freeze-dried products which are dried at a low temperature under a vacuum. All the products are safe and only need water or lotion added to reform the product before application. Formulations from the company include
LyoCrem, a freeze dry emulsion deposited on a non woven support, LyoGel, which provides intense moisturisation and is suited for the sensitive under eye area, LyoMask marine collagen and LyoKit.

Mibelle AG Biochemistry displayed a wide range of products including PhytoCellTec™
formulation is proven to revitalise and protect valuable dermal stem cells and enables them to regenerate and promote restoration of the skin. The experts were on hand to help visitors learn
more about how its products help to best protect these valuable cells and the benefits that can be found in the unique formulations.
Oat Cosmetics
Oat Cosmetics launched three new oat-based formulations at in-cosmetics alongside its range of natural ingredients which fall under its ‘heal and repair’ and ‘maintain good skin health’ principles. The three new formulations focus on protecting the skin and include a natural anti-ageing facial serum, an organic lupin, oat and mango protective hand cream and a conventional men’s soothing after- shave balm.
The company also displayed its recently launched
ingredient for healthy skin and hair, Colloidal Oatmeal. It is the latest ingredient which maintains anti-inflammatory, anti-itch, antioxidant properties that soothe and protect damaged skin.
