caring for a horse (or dog). The body worker provides services such as Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, MyoFascial Release, Acupressure or a combination of modalities. The goal is to promote increased mobility, enhanced performance, improved quality of life, and decreased recovery times from ailments. In the case of rehabilitation, the body worker becomes a integral part of the team, working directly with veterinarians, sur- geons and physiotherapists.

HAPBW is the exclusive Canadian provider of both programs. As such, they offer a wide variety of the courses and components required to achieve an Equine Body Worker Level I and II or Master Equine Body Worker and Canine Body Worker certificate. Deutsch is proud to announce that they are partnering with REACH Huron in Clinton to offer the Equinology and Caninology courses in Ontario. Classes are taught and/or developed by veterinarians and leading industry professionals, and have expanded to offer many com- plimentary modalities. Graduates are certified and qualify for membership to the IEBWA (International Equine Body Worker Association) which offers a group rated insurance package.
After one full year in business, Deutsch is grateful to her supporters, stating “A huge thank you goes out to all of the wonderful people who were a part of my first year of success – Instructors, Teaching Assistants, Students and Facility Owners alike. It was such a great experience to learn and be part of such an incredible experience – gaining firsthand knowledge and taking the courses, to being amongst such a strong group of individuals that keep me motivated to do my best to provide not only the next upcoming courses but to also be a better student as well!
