Lindsay, ON - The Lind- say Fairgrounds saw more than 5000 people attend the 3rd annual ALL ABOUT HORSES and Rawhide Extreme Rodeo, which took place at the Lindsay Fairgrounds on May 28th, and 29th, 2011. On Satur- day and Sunday, attendees watched the Rawhide “Extreme” Rodeo, which featured professional rodeo events, such as Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Rac- ing, Bull Riding, and included the Canadian Cowgirls, an elite rodeo style precision drill team, hailing from Chatham. The rodeo was preceded each day by the ever crowd-pleasing heavy horse hitches, featuring the Belgian, Clydesdale, Percheron, Commercial and Canadien horse breeds. A large trade show,

A large number of spectators also enjoyed the draft horse field demonstrations and took advantage of the free wagon rides transporting attendees around the grounds.

cess. All of the proceeds from the event will be used to support the Lindsay Agricultural Society, a not- for-profit organization committed to encouraging an awareness of agriculture and promoting improve- ments in the quality of life of persons living in the agricultural community and beyond.
