My column is supposed to be real estate related so I will include a caution for those of you looking for a move to the country about how fast your horse population can grow. I remember when I first bought a farm, many years ago , a friend asked me how many box stalls where in the barn. I said I only had three horses so it didn’t matter and her response was “ I ask because whatever number of stalls you have is how many horses you’ll end up with!”. She was right...but my problem is because I have so much available land that I
So I have several lovely young horses with excellent bloodlines look- ing for new homes. The older horses will stay and live out the rest of their lives with me but the younger ones need to begin new lives. These guys are all well handled, in the best of health and ready to be started in whatever discipline you may be inter- ested in. Two are sorrell and white overo APHA registered mares , a matching pair who are very flashy and cowy. Big strong feet, beautiful flowing tails and manes of white and red. I have three yearlings too who are out of Zippo Pine bar mares and colonel Freckles and Hollywod Jac 86 lines. A perfectly formed smaller three year colt who has been so, so easy to train. My favorite is a drop dead gorgeous bay three year old filly
