Four Shires photo gallery - Kate Moby K

ate Moby has lived in the West Midlands for much of her life, having recently moved to Oxfordshire after getting married. Her childhood climbing trees

and building dens in hedgerows is where her love of the outdoors started. She is inspired by the beauty of creation and the natural world, which is the focus of the majority of her work. The exploration of the unknown also fascinates Kate, as demonstrated by her ambition to become a travel photographer. All images shown here are of the Four Shires area, but work from further a field can be seen on her website, listed below. She is also inspired by the geometric repetition and rhythmic lines of modern architecture. Kate commented ‘I have always loved capturing what I see through a camera,

from my first red and blue plastic point-and-shoot, to the digital Canon 350D that I currently use. I utilise a variety of lenses, but am particularly drawn to the abstraction that a macro lens can give me. I have only recently, tried to turn what I love as a hobby into a living.’ Much of Kate’s work is available as large format prints, and she soon hopes to

diversify into greetings cards. Further work can be seen on her online portfolio site: www.katemoby.com. ‘I welcome feedback and commission enquiries of all kinds, and would love to hear from you’
