t has been good to hear thatMike King and Peter Fulham are making

a good recovery after their respective illnesses, and as I write, sadness that Dick Wylie, one of our founder members, has had a fall and had to go into hospital. Wishing you a speedy recovery Dick.

Hi all fellow Rotarians T I

o say the least it has been an interesting year so far with only

3 months to go before handing over to Senior Vice president George Larkey. We have had the snow and ice to contend with during December and unfortunately having to cancel the old folks party. However we managed to do a good job on the static stand even in the snow, and it was great that so many were able to make the effort in awful conditions.

t was great to see the crocuses finally making an appearance,

another great joint effort by the three Havering clubs and not least all those around the country who made such an effort for the purple pinkie week.

e are all preparing for the quiz night ahead and I have

imported some 'brains' for my team. Woe betide them if they come last !

n the coming weeks we will be preparing for President's Lunch

and of course the hand over dinner when I will be able to stand upright again after handing the Gong to George. ( It will be even heavier this year George with another name badge on it).

his will not be happening until we have had a good night at the

Jazz event organized by Jim. The year has flown by and it has been a pleasure and a privilege to share the fellowship with you all each week.
