this lavish limited edition set grew from blake’s original desire to paint clapton and was produced alongside the rock star’s sell-out run of 24 concerts at the royal Albert hall in 1991. the concerts featured not just clapton and his band, but also the guitarist playing orchestral arrangements of his work with the national philharmonic orchestra conducted by michael kamen. the 2 cds contain live recordings from the gigs.
