Newspapers
The Calgary Sun and Calgary Herald and printed daily. There are also two free newspapers – the Cochrane Times and the Cochrane Eagle. These are delivered weekly to every home in Cochrane. In addition to local news they are good sources of community events and employment opportunities in the town.
Pets
All families accommodation in Cochrane are hirings, and it is BATUS poicy that pets are not allowed in hirings.
Pharmacy
There are a number of pharmacies in town, including large ones in both Safeway and Extra Foods.
