Buying and Renting Property Buying a house in Canada is quite different from the process in the UK and it is important to get advice on the differences that apply. The whole process of buying a house is much quicker in Canada, with completion of a sale achievable within 4-8 weeks of an offer being accepted. It is important to note that the way real estate agents work in Canada is also different to the UK and it more likely that you will find a specific person working for a real estate agency, who you will work with to find the house you are looking for.
