Army Welfare Information Service (AWIS) No problem is too big or too small The Army Welfare Information Service (AWIS) exists to give information and advice to soldiers and their families.


Personal Advice & Information Trained personnel who are thoroughly experienced in most of the issues encountered by Service personnel and their families’ staff AWIS. It doesn’t matter if the query is simple, routine, or difficult, of a personal or family nature – the staff at AWIS will either answer your question or put you in touch with one of the military or civilian agencies who can provide you with help and assistance.


AWIS Information Sheets AWIS maintain a series of information sheets which provide a vast fund of reference information. Information Sheets are available on ArmyNET and Army Internet which makes them immediately accessible to Military personnel and their families.If you require any advice or information you can contact AWIS direct or via your local AWS Office, Unit Welfare Officer or HIVE.
