Breaking away from the stereotypical Urban trends...
VA-G is a brand new, original and innovative clothing range to explode from the UK. From the creative brains of designers Vidal Bull Jr and Alan Adewale, VA-G exploded on the urban fashion scene in 2008 and has gone from strength to strength.
“Breaking away from the stereotypical urban trends affiliated amongst our common society, and with both of us growing up in the South/South East of London, our main aim was to produce a brand, that could change perceptions and break barriers of what a modern youth culture, specifically young black youths, felt were socially accepted.”
It’s our uninspiring back- grounds, surroundings and pessimistic attitudes we’re faced with, that spurred us on to create VA-G and create an impact on urban fashion.
VA-G is characteristically rec- ognised for its creative design, built up of block, geometric shapes, juxtaposing primary and secondary colour combinations, with detailed attention paid to the
experimental and unique cut and construction of a simple menswear jacket or hooded jumper.
Bringing a new and creative design to urbanwear VA-G is pushing the boundaries for many youngsters who feel trapped by the boundaries of urban style.
We are inspired simply, by a vision to take a simple mens- wear garment, and implicate colour, print, cut and form in an experimental and unique way, and give a fresh and innova- tive alternative to our urban society.
VA-G ranges from the more commercial urban range of sweaters and t-shirts to the more experimental and expres- sive tailored menswear and womenswear range.” This gives the brand a broader appeal, as they are not seg- regating anyone who is not as experimental as some and giving them some well made commercial urbanwear.
