2010 ROUND-UP
The dawn of a new year is approaching. The old familiar sound of bells ringing and angelic choirs singing in harmonious tones fill and resonate churches all around the world. It is a time for giving and sharing, a time for looking back over the past year and promising ourselves better for the forthcoming, and of course a time for reading your Christmas edition of Kix Mag. Yes people, Christmas and New Years are upon us yet again!
2010 has been a big big year for Kix Magazine, and 2011 promises to be even bigger. We have an unshakeable positive outlook and an unmissiable birds eye view on every occurence within the walls of the industry, and with that, we aim to report and give light to all current trends and set more than a few in the process. You only have to look through our catologue of previous editions to see how busy we’ve been. That’s how -Kix Mag- gets its -KIX- Well, 2010 has been, in alot of ways, the year of the
unexpected. Rihanna and Eminem collaborated, Eminem and Lil wayne have been spitting fire together, Lil wayne served his prison sentence, Diddy and Skepta have shown what US and UK artists can create when they work together, the family Simmons seems to be a fountain of talent, Tinie Tempa is reaching his potential, G-Unit captain 50 cent, is tackling Hollywood and reaping the rewards,
expect also to see Tony Ya Yo on this path, and the G-Unit empire seems to be growing from strength to strength. Fith seems very comfortable leaving his well prepared G-Unit soldier Lloyd Banks holding the reins and keeping the mic warm, and Banks seems very comortable taking them.
