Skepta Ft N-Dubz: Single: “So Alive” Label: Boy Better Know / 3 Beat Released: 16th Janurary 2011

Skepta

Grime King Skepta has come back again with another banger collaborating with N- Dubz one more, for another smash hit! N-Dubz are showing us they can still do grime and pretty well we have to say. Dappy comes with some fire lyrics, further more they all held their corner on this one, with Tulisa bringing even more sass than normal. With theses two dynamite artists hooking up we don’t expect anything other than a smash hit and that is exactly what we received.

Bashy: Single “Make My day

Label: Virgin Records / Relentless Released: 31st October 2010

This year has seen Bashy expand his talents into acting with his debut in ‘Shank’, and with the current release. ‘Make my day’, he is showing he is planning to combine the two and at the minute is proving successful. When you sample an old track you open yourself up to the arguement that you are capitalising on an al- ready successful hook, or as in this case you produce a track that is well put together and refreshing an old classic. With the already familiar chorus, Bashy stamps his talents all over it to make it a smash hit, again.

Example: Single: “Two Lives” Label: Ministry Of Sound Released: 14th November 2010
