buying my 1st pair of decks named KAM Red Dwarf. Ask any DJ about Belt Drive turntables, and they will give you their experience on them being unreliable, wear and tear quickly. My dad always gave me an ear for music from a tender age. I used to sit down and listen to his wide selection of music through the

Welcome to Kix Magazine!

Kix: Well let’s get started, we have known you for over a year here at Kix and we must say, that you are one of the most hard working, down to earth DJ’s we have met. Have you ever been tempted to throw your toys out of the pram and have a diva strop, if so what did you do to stop yourself?! DJ Col J: Well first of all when it comes to this DJ game, everything you do you are being judged at. The way you carry yourself, the way you

I even remember making my 1st song on an entry level software called E-jay and Fruity loops, and with my experience of playing the piano from a young age, music production came naturally to me. I have been more focused on the DJ side of my life, but I do have plans for more music production to come.

Kix: Now it seems that in recent months your career has elevated with us seeing you playing out at alot of events and also securing your very
