High visibility vehicle marking kits prove to be a winner for Early Signs
When Early Signs was contracted to apply high visibility battenbergs and chevrons to a fleet of patient transport ambulances they turned to William Smith to supply these in kit form. “We have been working very closely
for several years with one of the country’s most successful and fastest growing courier companies, which won a contract to run patient ambulances in the London area,” explains Keron Kent of Early Signs. The kits were supplied by William Smith
using 3M Scotchcal 3485 Saturn Yellow fluorescent and 980-72 High Visibility Tape red reflective material for the chevrons; and Diamond Grade DG³ 4083 Yellow/Green and 4093 Interstate Green reflective material for the battenbergs. 3M Diamond Grade DG³ Reflective Film
and 3M High Visibility Tape are wide-angle prismatic retro-reflective opaque materials that provides exceptional short, medium and long distance viewing performance, while 3M Scotchcal 3480 Fluorescent Series is designed to provide high attention value in poor visibility conditions. “We were delighted to find a fluorescent
material with a three-year warranty, as we had been unable to source this elsewhere. As the material needs to be edge sealed before application, we asked William Smith to supply the battenbergs and chevrons in kit form; very few companies can do this. “The service from William Smith is fantastic and their prices are
very competitive. They are very quick and efficient, and always go the extra mile,” adds Keron Kent.
3M High Visibility Vehicle Safety Marking Tape is available
from William Smith ex-stock as full or part rolls, and same day despatch can usually be provided for orders received up to 5.30pm. Materials can also be supplied in kit form, cut to fit specific vehicle requirements. For further information telephone William Smith on 01833 694707
