Drytac Europe Ltd, manufacturer and supplier of products for the graphics finishing and display industry, is pleased to offer Panda Print, an eco-friendly canvas-like banner fabric made of natural bamboo fibre, which complements Drytac’s current range of other eco-friendly products, such as the bamboo banner stands. Panda Print bamboo fibre printable fabric is a desirable green
alternative to be used for various applications, and is compatible with aqueous, eco-solvent and UV inkjet printers. It provides excellent colour pop and trims evenly without fraying, giving finished products that clean and professional look, but without harming the environment. Manufactured in a closed loop, environmentally responsible
process, Panda Print is 99.6% biodegradable and certified to be free of harmful chemicals by the European REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) and Oeko Tex Standard 100 requirements. The bamboo used to make Panda Print is grown on an organically farmed plantation and is not harvested from forests.
Panda Print canvas-like banner fabric is made of natural bamboo fibre. Complementary to Drytac’s bamboo banner stands, which

DS Smith Correx launches new Akyprint Display Sheet
DS Smith Correx has launched its new range of Polypropylene display sheet. Marketed under the brand names Akyprint® and Akylite®, this new product range offers all the environmental benefits of the market leading Correx display sheet combined with the superior printing surface of a solid sheet. Produced using a patented process, the centre bubble structure
gives the sheet excellent strength and rigidity in all directions, while being extremely tough and lightweight in comparison to alternative products. The super smooth white matt Corona treated surfaces are suitable for all types of printing processes and the opacity of the sheet also makes it ideal for two-sided printing applications. Akyprint is produced in 3.3mm and 5.4mm thick sheets and
both are available in either UV or FR grades giving the flexibility for both internal and external print applications.The sheet can be easily diecut and creased to create point of sale units and displays. Standard sheet sizes are 1000 x 1500mm, 1500 x 2000mm and
2050 x 3050mm.
Also being launched is the Akylite Display Sheet, which is a
lightweight sheet suitable for hanging signs, point of sale display units and general printing applications. The sheet is produced in 2.5mm and 2.9mm thicknesses without any additives. Standard sheet sizes are 800 x 1200mm, 1000 x 1200mm and
1000 x 1500mm The bubble structure gives the sheet strength and rigidity.
