Comedy Genius From Michael McIntyre. On a recent TV show this brilliant and refreshing comedian came up with two classics as he introduced two celebrity members of his audience. Deborah Meaden of Dragon’s Den fame. Michael suggested a new answerphone message for Deborah. “Let me tell you where I’m at……….. I’m out.” He then introduced Carol Vorderman, and reminded her of the time they met in a lift. Carol was on the buttons and asked “ What do you want.” Michael thought — “If I can’t make a joke out of this I’m not a stand up comedian.” So he replied to Carol, “Give me one from the top and any four from underneath.”

one-year deal at the Crown Ground at the beginning of August 2010 after a successful trial period. He signed for Chester City following their promotion back to the Football League in 2004, becoming a key first team member throughout his first three years at the club. He has proved to be a versatile player throughout his career, play- ing at centre back, full back and also holding midfield. Hessey joined his most recent club, Macclesfield Town, in November 2007 on loan from Chester. He signed for Macclesfield permanently in Summer 2008 on a two-year deal. He was released at the end of 2009-2010 before spending pre-season on trial at the Crown Ground. 2 0 1 0 / 2 0 1 1 A p p e a r a n c e s - 1 2 G o a l s - 1 Career Stanley Appearances - 12 Career Goals – 1 New Signing – Kevin Long New Accrington Stanley signing Kevin Long is looking forward to playing first team football at the Crown Ground. The 20-year-old signed on loan from neighbours Burnley earlier this month. "I didn't have to really think for long when I was given the chance to come here," admitted the Irish under 21 international. "I just think that the opportunity to play some competitive first team games is a great opportunity and I just want to get out and play some games. "I think this is the next step for me - to get out on loan, play league football and hopefully do well then when I do go back to Burnley I'll improve things there so this is a great opportunity for me really." It's just a short trip down the M65 for the new boy and he believes that will make it easier following the upheaval of switching Ireland for England earlier this year. "I settled into the area quite quickly because all the lads at Burnley are really great," said Long. "I think the fact that Accrington are local is really great. It means I don't have to move property again and get unsettled. I can just stay where I am at the moment and drive in from there."
