LEG PIECE
(Note: this piece will form both legs) Leave a 20.5cm/8in-long starting yarn tail. With D, 10 ch. Rnd 1: Taking care not to twist the chain, dc in the 10th chain from the hook, to form a ring, and dc in each remaining chain around the ring. (10 sts) Rnds 2-3: Dc in each st around. FINISHING If you’re using safety eyes, insert the eyes now and attach the backs, and then stuff the head. For any other type of eye, stuff the head fi rst, and then attach the eyes. The eyes should be positioned directly below the outermost orange stitches of Head Section Rnd 6.
Position the head on the body so that the front edges of the blue patches on the neck meet the edges of the blue on the body. The head should be at an angle to the body with the front of the neck just above the middle of the body.
