Vintage bolero ZOË CLEMENTS
“I wanted to give a modern look and feel to a vintage garment ‒ I found a great old pattern for a bat-wing bolero (see right) that was just perfect for me to update in contemporary crochet."
PATTERN NOTES
This bolero has two small seams at the waist band. The left side is worked from the foundation row to the cuff . To work the right side, the stitches are worked into the bottom of the foundation row, with the stripes worked in reverse order so that the stripes are the same colour on each arm. The ridges fl ow in opposite directions from the foundation row, which means that they fl ow down from the shoulders to the cuff s on each arm.

Working on waist dimensions, work the back of the left side until it measures one quarter of the overall waist measurement, then start the sleeve decreases. Work the same for the right side. If you are taller, add extra htrs
