Rowan will celebrate and show their support through a programme of events that will see Rowan Purelife British Sheep Breeds yarns take centre stage in John Lewis stores nationwide and in Liberty, London.

The international hand-knit company's involvement will help raise awareness about the British sheep breeds it uses to create its Purelife yarn at mills in Rowan's heartland of Yorkshire. A special Rowan design project with the Royal College of Art will also feature as part of the week's activities. What's most exciting though is that in support of Wool Week, Rowan is launching a solely online design collection – a fantastic range of homewares that use its 100% British wool. Log on to www.knitrowan.com and help to support our British fl ocks and farmers!

Yes, as part of Jillian and Dax's small-scale wedding day, Jillian combined crocheted doilies and deconstructed a vintage dress pattern for the bodice to achieve the perfect dress for her big day.
