Environmental Science
This course is an upper level science course. Environmental Science is a multidisciplinary field that draws from all the sciences in ad- dition to other fields. This course will help students better understand the relationship between humans and the world in which we live. Environmental science applies the principles of pure sciences such as biology, chemistry, ecology, geology, and others.

Life Science
In this course students will learn about living things, their structure and their func- tions. They will begin with simple cells and move on to complex organisms, like plants and animals. They will learn how all of life is interrelated and must coexist in harmony and balance. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the wonders of life and living things. They will learn how the many life forms of Earth are different and yet the same, and how all species rely upon each other for sur- vival. Students will be introduced to new vocabulary and ideas that will help them to better appreciate the wonder and beauty of life.
