structor Certification (PMI) and the 350-hour Yoga Teacher Certification which is registered with the Yoga Alliance (EWYT) at the RYT-200 hour level. We also offer a RYT 500-hour level curriculum for graduates of the EWYT program. YES and PMI are both two-part Certification programs and include two 12-hour courses each done over a weekend.

The prerequisite for both of these courses is a mini- mum of 25 hours of previous anatomy training. The EWYT Certification prerequisite is YES Certification and is made up of eight weekend courses that run once a month from November to June each year. Each of these weekend courses cost $250 plus GST or $262.50CAN. The YES program has been offered since 1994 and more than 2,000 fitness and health professionals have participated in this program. East to West Yoga Inc. offers a group insurance policy to all Certified graduates at a cost of $125/instructor and $300/studio plus tax for Yoga and/or Pilates in- struction with up to two million in liability. Both the YES and PMI are recognized by Can-Fit-Pro, BCRPA, OFC, MFC and AFLCA for CEC’s and meet the crite- ria for CEC petitions for all fitness certification or- ganizations. Each course comes with a user friendly manual and certificate of course completion or Cer- tification certificate where applicable. These cours- es are designed to prepare the graduate to teach a wide variety of students with varying degrees of
