launched a new series of simplifi ed branded fares designed to make routes easier to sell. The Swiss Choice fares mean business is now fully fl exible and economy comes in three ticket types:
light (cabin bag

It recently released a preview to its new Deluxe Collection brochure, showcasing fi ve-star hotels. SWISS TRAVEL SYSTEM: This company offers one ticket to explore the whole country. That’s 26,000km by train, bus and boat. The Swiss Travel Pass offers three, four-, eight- and 15-day options and the Swiss Travel Pass Flex offers the same but the choice to use them over non-consecutive days. The Swiss Family Card allows kids aged 6-16 to travel free if their parents purchase one of the above. ZURICH: Switzerland’s biggest city sells itself on its cultural offering, with 50 museums and over 100 galleries, alongside its proximity to nature. The lively international scene includes trendy new area Zürich West, where regenerated industrial buildings have become restaurants or art galleries. INTERLAKEN: Situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, Interlaken is a picturesque

JUNGFRAU REGION: Including the resorts of Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren, this is a hub for alpine sports and great for groups with non-skiers as many restaurants are accessible via gondolas. A top attraction is the Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe excursion, accessed via the highest train station in Europe (3,454 metres). It’s home to an ice palace, and the Lindt Swiss Chocolate Heaven. ALETSCH ARENA: Standing 2,000 metres above sea level and boasting an impressive view of over 30 mountains including Mt Blanc, Aletsch Arena comprises three villages and is a hiker’s paradise. Two of the villages here are only accessible by cable car and are car-free. PORTES DU SOLEIL: A blend of French and Swiss culture, Portes du Soleil is close to Geneva Airport and offers a family-friendly skiing experience. With 285 slopes of varying diffi culty; 196 lifts; 11 snow parks and 12 resorts, the area is suitable for all abilities.
