your upper chakra after we had our fi ll of fancy restaurants, luxury items and sex. Initially we were aiming for a once-a-week sweeping the fl oor of a temple, but now it has become a daily ritual. Every day 7am I will go sweep the fl oor of the temple. T e rabbits are also part of our forage into upper chakra, although it is challenging at times. Kunchok says it is a test for me, set by the Gods. But the rabbits have brought people into my life. Staunch Christians volunteer their muscles and time at the temple to build shelters for the rabbits. T e vet who helped treat the animals sometimes waive their consultation fees and give us rabbit pellets. Another willingly gave me money to defray expenses! T e most amazing story of all is a man who adopted a bunny for his daughter, turned out to be a big shot. He is a Harvard graduate dentist who has his own practice in America and in Singapore. We have become close friends now, playing badminton and going to his upmarket home in Bukit Timah area (wealthy man area). T rough him, we got to know more high profi le professionals. Isn’t this a magical journey for a housewife like me?? But I do not have my head up in the clouds. Some things I think feng shui cannot change. My husband is a risk averse and conservative person. He prefers to tie all his money in his fi xed deposits. Perhaps having been through a tough time in our younger days, he knows cash is king. He is very happy and content to see his money earn paltry interest year after year. My aunt thinks we should upgrade and go live in

a condominium and that we should buy a continental car so people will suck up to us. I agree that in Singapore, society is as such. But I don’t need that fawning. Being in debt will worry Anthony. He is the only son and he needs to take care of his parents, who will have no insurance coverage and no substantial savings. Eventually our money will be used to take care of him. But that is OK.

I am happy that Anthony is a good man with a good and fi lial heart. He will treat me well in the future if I fall sick. T e best magic you have given me is Anthony, and I thank you for this Lillian. Anthony and I will fi nd time to go visit you in

your home, is that OK? I told him how very lucky I was to sit beside you on the plane. You really are such a kind and wonderful person! And you are the “same” as everyone else – a woman who believes in love, a woman who adores her family and above all, you are a person fi lled with gratitude and love. T e words on this letterpad reads: “Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs

from the soul.” I think you are so beautiful Lillian and I love

you very much. Katherine Kuan XXXOOO www.fswmag.com Love from TM
