Ten years on after her debut at the age of 16, there seems to be no stopping this dazzling diamond in the rough. Discovered at a talent audition in her home country Barbados, she moved to New York to pursue her American Dream, and today she has become truly the face of the new generation. She has permeated the music, movie and fashion worlds, with 8 Grammy wins under her belt, 2 movies, 7 fragrances as well as being the 2015 face of Dior’s Secret Garden campaign. On the eve of the imminent release of her 8th album ANTI, Rihanna unapologetically insists she is no role model. But like it or not, her fame and success has thrust this role upon her too. counts Madonna, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion as her early role models. Discovered at a local talent audition in 2004 in her native Bridgetown, Barbados by American record producers Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken, they wasted no time making demos with her to try and get her a record deal. In 2005, she auditioned for Def Jam Records and ended up signing a six-record deal on the spot. Def Jam executive Jay Brown said of seeing her audition for the fi rst time, “She had a fi re in her eyes.” He told their lawyers that day that the only way out of the building if they didn’t sign her was out the window. Her rise to fame was fast and

furious, very much in line with how she lives her public life. She has garnered a reputation for being badass, both in the way she dresses as well as in her song material and music videos. She has the hardware in her fl awless skin, her great fi gure, her versatility and her voice range; and she has the software in her unstoppable determination and drive. Her song material varies widely, ranging from very dark to very feel-good, but always highly-listenable to.

Even if you don’t count yourself a Rihanna fan, if you check your playlist, you are going to have at least a handful of Rihanna songs on there. She has worked prolifi cally, releasing an album a year since she started in 2005 (with only one year, in 2008, when she didn’t). And with each release she has contributed several blockbuster hits to practically every top-hits chart around the world. Her fans now eagerly await her 8th studio album, ANTI, which was hotly- anticipated in 2013, and then 2014. Her last album “Unapologetic” was in 2012, so by Rihanna standards, it has been some time. Earlier this year, she teaser-released several songs from her new album - “FourFiveSeconds” with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, “Bitch Better Have My Money” and “American Oxygen” - leading fans to expect ANTI to come out in this past summer. Since then there has been little

news, but Jay Z, founder of Roc Nation, the label that will release ANTI, recently said to Vanity Fair that the delay was because “she wants it to be perfect.” Historically, all previous four of her albums have been released in November, leading to speculation that we can expect ANTI to come out this November as well. From a destiny analysis viewpoint, November is an auspicious time of

year for her. November is the start of the winter period, in which the seasonal infl uence on her self-element of Wood is strong. A November release could thus prove good timing not just for the T anksgiving and Christmas markets, but also from a feng shui perspective. Looking at Rihanna’s Paht Chee,

there are several indications that jump out.

Born on February 20th, 1988, she is an Earth Dragon lady. T is powerful celestial sign is made all the more celestial with the combination of the Snake in her Day Pillar.
