A most heartwarming letter to Lillian from Katherine Kuan, who started out as one of her readers, then a member of her audience in her annual Feng Shui Extravaganzas. She then came for the Master Practitioners Course in Feng Shui to further her knowledge, and affirms that feng shui, and especially Lillian Too’s brand of feng shui, really can work magic!! September 2015 My dearest Lillian,

ello Lillian, how are you? I wanted to send you something special, so I thought a
handwritten letter would be it. I have thanked you a million times
for the magic. I wanted to tell you more about this magic! My parents were extremely wealthy. We grew up in Katang (a rich man’s area in Singapore). Our 4,000 sq ft place has its own garden backyard and a front palace huge enough to park several buses. Alas! My parents often quarrelled over money that THEY HAD (not over money they did not have). Does it make sense? T ings were so bad I did not talk to them for more than 10 years!
Anthony’s father was an auditor in his heyday. He earned a decent living and it was a pity he quit working very early in his work life. T ey have been living off his savings since. When I got married in 1996, Anthony and I were low income earners. Every day was a struggle! I got to choose my own dowry, but I did not choose anything expensive as I sense his parents were not rich. My own parents declared that all the family’s money would eventually be donated to charity. So literally Anthony and I were on our own. Life was very hard and divorce seemed almost inevitable. Bless our Singapore government! T ey gave us $40,000 rebate if we bought a fl at near our parents’, which we did. A two-bedroom fl at above a durian-seller’s shop. Every day we whiff ed the fragrance of durians. Nowadays I look at durians and shudder. My neighbours were low incomers too and one was even the victim of domestic violence. We often have police knocking our door appealing for witnesses. Back then I had no clue who you were. Your newspaper ad read, “Do you want a better life?” My fi rst time at your talk – I was lost. You talked about productive and exhaustive cycles. I thought, feng shui is not for me. Anthony and I were already working late into the night!! Sometimes we even

needed to bring work home. I could not possibly fi nd the time to read up on feng shui!
But I remember you said smoething: “Aiyo!! If you have no money to buy a big cure, then buy a small cure. If you cannot aff ord a small cure, then Photostat or draw one. But do something!” In my opinion, that was the best statement you could have said to a struggling and broke audience – me! I went home and I pasted the pagoda in my fl at. I told the pagoda, “Help me please and I will buy the real thing.” I went to the library, read your book, went home and changed the facing direction of Anthony’s table. I won’t even call it a study/work table. It was a foldable squeaky fl imsy table we used at mealtimes.
T en I found a container and
put a small fi sh pump in it. Within a few months, Anthony’s company declared 12 months bonus for all staff ! We did go and buy that pagoda. T e rest, as they say, is history. T ings just got better and better!! T e more I read your books, the more time I could free up to read your books. T e more I bought your enhancers and cures, the more of them I could aff ord to buy!! Too’s magic does work! Yeah! Today we live in a small mansionette. It is still
government housing, but one of the biggest land in the market. T e best thing about our 1,600 sq ft mansionette is that we have already paid off the loan. We drive a KIA. It is not a fancy car, but it is fully paid up. Anthony and I have been debt free for close to 10 years. It is a good life not having to worry about debt. T is is Lillian Too magic. Our marriage has healed because we have time and money to romance. We do go on the occasional holiday and we live it up! T e high end hotels, the airport transfers! No public transport or food court eating when we travel together! � Our love is strong and my hubby adores me! He knows that he has been very lucky in his career. I tell him it is Lillian Too magic every time he gets promoted! Because Anthony and I have so much, it is easy to forget and forgive. I take my mum out now. Initially it was awkward talking to a stranger who happened to be my mother. So sad right! But I did not want to be an unfi lial Buddhist. Youhave given me the means to fi x relationships that once I could not even dream to salvage. On other occasions, we take Anthony’s parents out. I feel better as a person because we have the means and the heart to pamper the old folks. T e only thing that irked me was that people liked to
take advantage of us. T ey call us only if they needed my hubby’s expertise in fi nance matters or if they wanted us to foot the bill at some fancy restaurant. But this, as you read on, has changed as you worked your magic!!! In one of your spiritual events, you said to move onto
