JA Resorts & Hotels
This Dubai-born brand is expanding and has lots of exciting news for the trade, so we invited around 40 agents to join us at a JA Resorts & Hotels Destination Dialogue at The Grange St. Paul’s Hotel, London. There was food, drink and a whole
lot of prizes, including fl uffy dressing gowns and hotel nights, but the star of the show was the presentation. Here is the product knowledge you need:
THE JA EXPERIENCE JA Resorts & Hotels' fl agship property is the fi ve-star JA Palm Tree Court. Notable for its incredible added-value, the resort is all-suite, with an all- inclusive plan available. Even the lead-in Garden View Junior Suite comes with a huge list of free benefi ts which range from a daily free sundowner to a 30-minute spa treatment. There is even one game of golf and a private tennis lesson per adult, per stay, as well as complimentary dinner cruise and many more benefi ts! For those who upgrade to Royal Jasmine or The Residence suites, the benefi ts grow. For families, up to two children under 12 sharing with two adults stay free on the same board basis as
their parents. So if the adults upgrade to all-inclusive, the children are automatically upgraded to. There is something for everyone with 15 food and beverage outlets to choose from. Palm Tree Court is also notable for its family-friendly facilities, including a crèche for children aged from four months up to four years, the Cool Zone kids' club for those aged four to 12 and the Chill Zone for teens from 12 upwards. Families will be constantly entertained with facilities including a marina, water sports centre, horse riding venue and an 800-metre beach. Sister property JA Jebel Ali Beach
Hotel shares many of the previously mentioned facilities with JA Palm Tree Court, and its guests also have access to 10 of its restaurants and bars on the all-inclusive plan. Family Rooms at JA Jebel Ali Beach
Hotel are the perfect option to guarantee two connected rooms, and with up to 40% off the second room, they are great value for money.
WHERE THE ACTION IS Still in Dubai, JA Ocean View is in a prime location, with direct access to Jumeirah Beach and The Walk – a cosmopolitan area where visitors
can wander between shops and restaurants and enjoy a café culture completely unique to Dubai. A recent addition to this array of entertainment is the Beach Mall, situated directly opposite the hotel. Inside JA Ocean View is the popular Girder’s Bar, a Scottish-themed pub where punters are served draft beer from pumps on their tables. Upstairs is Girder’s Garden, a lively and equally popular wine and cocktail venue. The hotel also has a kids' club for 4
to 12 year olds, a small spa with four treatment rooms and an infi nity pool. Also on The Walk is JA Oasis Beach
Tower, with views over The Palm Jumeirah. Accommodation is in two-, three-, and four-bedroom luxury hotel apartments and there is a buzzing all-day buffet restaurant called Thyme, with live cooking stations.
INDIAN OCEAN IDYLLS JA Resorts & Hotels' fi rst foray into the Indian Ocean is the Enchanted Island Resort in the Seychelles. Set in the Sainte Anne Marine Park, the resort is only a 20 minute transfer from Mahé. The resort sells itself on a romantic vibe, with the aim to help guests get away from it all.

With just 10 villas (two with two bedrooms), it exudes exclusivity and each accommodation has direct beach access, a private pool and an outside bathroom, open to the elements. Foodies will particularly love Enchanted Island, as resident chef, Ulrich, is famous for his local cuisine and personal service, meeting every guest and tailoring his culinary delights to suit them. New to the portfolio is JA Manafaru
(formerly the Beach House Iruveli). On the northern tip of the Haa Alif Atoll in the Maldives, the 84 villas in this resort each come with a private pool. Size matters at JA Manafaru, and
even the lead-in Beach Villa is 150 square metres with a sitting area, cabana and private garden. Another option is a water villa, and these are split into sunrise or sunset views. There are six restaurants in this idyllic Maldivian resort, with an all- inclusive plan also available. The resort’s spa has 10 treatment pavilions and families can use the Cool Zone kids' club for 4-12 year-olds.
