of Miami, who took home the $100 electric credit; and Tony & Barbara Booth of Fairland, who won the third place $50 credit.

The District 3 meeting was called to order by trustee Everett Johnston on July 31 and attended by 27 members. Ben Bullard of Welch was the lucky winner of the $250 grand prize electric credit for District 3. Robert & Evelyn Horton of Bluejacket won the $100 credit, and Welch residents Anthony & Cara Dotson claimed the $50 credit.

“Members in each of these three districts are to be commended for their attendance and participation at these meetings,” remarked Anthony Due, General Manager for Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative. “These grassroots gatherings are at the very heart of the cooperative process, and the positive and meaningful exchange between members, employees and trustees is an indicator that the cooperative spirit is very much alive and well.”■

If you experience an outage: 1. Check your switch or circuit breaker in the house and on the meter pole to be sure the trouble is not on your side of the service.

2. When contacting the cooperative to report an outage, use the name as it appears on your bill, and have both your pole number and account

number ready.
