The GT86 CS-V3 race car has been subjected to the same chassis testing which faces all TMG’s motorsport vehicles, with seven-post rig sessions to optimise vertical dynamics and rolling road tests to improve engine performance.
Using this thorough approach, TMG has retained the lightweight, responsive handling and performance of the GT86 road car and added the components and experience which deliver speed at the most demanding race track in the world. TMG has achieved something that is easier said than done; it has turned a fun, safe and cost-effective sports coupe into a fun, safe and cost-effective race car.
